Content Distribution

Arel ICP is designed to provide the richest conferencing and live and on-demand eLearning experience. Since large media-rich content files (like presentations, animations, video clips and documents) are in many cases prepared in advance, it's possible to use the network in off-peak hours to bring that content "close" to the end user allowing for better performance and to lower network requirements.

Arel ICP includes a content distribution mechanism that distributes recorded and live content to remote servers using multicast and unicast. Mechanisms include content compressing before sending and decompressing before use, to conserve precious data resources. Distribution of content is triggered by the publishing of course content or Conference agenda or manually.
